How do I properly fill the hydraulic oil for my EVEREST Snowplow?
Ensure all connections between the hydraulic hoses, pump connections, as well as actuator connections are tight and secure.
Open the cap of the reservoir and fill to the ADD line.
Once the reservoir is full, turn on the plow and cycle through all motions (up, down, left, right). This will ensure all air is out of the system.
Now that the plow has been cycled through all motions, top off to the fill line indicated on the clear reservoir.
Repeat Step 3 and fill as needed, you want to ensure the air is out of the hydraulic system prior to use.
Always monitor the connections and fittings for any leaks or damage, as well as checking the hydraulic fluid level prior to use. This is crucial to ensure the plow operates as designed each use.
