Why do you recommend I charge my battery to 80% instead of 100%?

Lithium-ion battery charging is quite unique, the charging speed tapers off above 80%. Think of cars in a parking lot, and think of the lithium ions as the cars trying to find a parking spot. The more full the parking lot, the longer it takes for the car to find a spot to park.
