Advanced Hydraulic Drive System

The SS-72 is powered by a single, robust USA White hydraulic motor and gearbox, designed to optimize power to the auger and fan. Our unique hydraulic valve system maintains consistent flow and pressure, ensuring the discharge fan never stalls, even in wet, heavy snow. The "down flow" oil technology enhances performance, preventing clogs and ensuring smooth snow removal.

Cutting Width and Height

Heavy-Duty Serrated Auger

Equipped with a rugged 17.5-inch serrated auger made of 3/16″ AR400 alloy steel, the SS-72 stands up to frozen snow piles. The auger’s 2-7/8″ diameter base tube keeps it running smoothly and handles tough conditions with ease. A quick-change shear bolt safeguards the drivetrain in case of a jam.

Powerful 4-Blade Open Center Fan

The 24-inch, 4-blade open center fan is designed for maximum snow removal, featuring a blade tip speed of 3,393 ft./min and a 6.75-inch fan depth. Made from 5/16″ steel and weighing 74 lbs, this heavy-duty fan can handle ice chunks and heavy snow, reducing vibration and extending bearing life.

Durable Cast Iron Oil Bath Gearbox and Transmission

At the core of the SS-72 is a sealed cast iron gearbox with oil-bathed bevel gears, designed for heavy-duty use. Power transfers through a #60 roller chain and sprocket setup, ensuring a reliable auger-to-fan speed ratio and easy maintenance.

Efficient Discharge Chute

The 9-inch diameter steel discharge chute, with its high-density polyethylene liner, allows for smooth snow discharge. The chute's unique arch design helps throw snow farther, making it a true performer in challenging conditions.

Hydraulic Chute Control
