PUSH BACK WINTER.
The DK2 Universal T-Frame Mounted ELITE Snowplows allow you to quickly and effectively remove snow from your driveway or small parking lot. These plows simply slide into a 2” front mount receiver for easy removal and storage.
Each snowplow ships in a single carton complete with hardened steel cutting edge scraper, rubber snow deflector, polymer-wrapped wire rope plow markers, skid shoes, castor kit for easy storage, and a wireless electric actuator for extra strength and reliability when lifting and lowering your plow. Each plow kit will also include a set of blade stiffeners for added strength by creating a 3-point connection.
This is a very common mistake customers make during assembly. The middle section of the scraper blade is the longest piece and the two short ones go on the ends. If they aren’t lining up try flipping the scraper blade over.
Will the plow damage my truck?
Ensure you have read and understand your provided DK2 snowplow manual and follow all instruction before use, this will prevent any potential damage to your vehicle or snowplow. Our snowplows are designed to minimize the wear and tear on your vehicle. We recommend you remove your snowplow when it is not in use.
Can I drive on the streets with the Snow Plow attached to my vehicle?
To ensure compliance with road safety and regulation, a snowplow light kit is required in order to drive on any road. Please abide by local road laws and regulations as they can vary by location. We recommend you stay off of highways and stick to streets instead. Before driving on any road, it is always important make sure the safety clips or the hitch pin are secured and your plow is safely mounted to your vehicle. You are required to use the safety chain while you aren’t plowing to take stress off your winch strap.
How high should I set my skid shoes?
The operator of the plow can decide how high to set the skid shoes. We recommend setting them about 1/4 of an inch below the scraper blade. The skid shoes will help protect the surface you are plowing and also prevent wear on your scraper blade.
