DK2 RETURN POLICY

Welcome to the DK2 return policy page. We understand that sometimes products do not always meet our customer's expectations, and we want to ensure that our customers have a hassle-free experience when returning their items. Our team has created a comprehensive return policy to make sure you know what to expect when returning your DK2 product. We value your satisfaction and are committed to making your return process as smooth as possible. Read on to learn about our return policy and how we can assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

NOTE: If you purchased your DK2 item from a retailer or dealer, you must initiate the returns process with the retailer to ensure you receive a refund.

Here are the steps to follow for a return: 

  1. Fill out the form on this page and be sure to include all requested information. This will begin the returns process. 
  2. Receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA).  We will send you a Return Material Authorization (RMA) along with a return shipping label to get the product back to us.  Please note that exclusions apply (see below). 
  3. Repack and ship the product in its original packaging. Include all items and note any missing parts. 
  4. Receive a refund once the product is received back at DK2. 
     

Free Returns Within 30 Days 

(This does not apply to part orders. Parts are non-returnable.) 

DK2 makes it easy for you with free returns. You can return your purchase for free within 30 days. 

Exclusions details on freight returns and part items that are not eligible for return are listed below. 

Please note that non-defective items that have not been opened should be returned in new condition.  Outdoor power equipment that has been fill with gasoline is not eligible for return unless defective.  DK2 trailers are non-returnable when assembled.  Please visit www.detailk2.com/warranty to submit a webform for any damaged/defective trailer part, or call 1 (888)-277-6960. 

Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers are good for 30-days from the date of issue. 

Freight Returns 

Remember to inspect freight orders upon delivery.  DO NOT ACCEPT freight that is damaged or if the item is not what you ordered. IMPORTANT: sign delivery driver’s receipts with “DAMAGED” in these incidents. 

Freight orders are not eligible for return unless DK2 was at fault. 

If you are returning an item that was shipped freight for any of the reasons listed below, you will NOT be subject to return shipping costs of fees. 

 

Eligible Freight Return Exceptions: 

  1. DK2 sent you a different product than the one you ordered.
  2. The product you received has a manufacturer’s defect. 

 

Parts Returns 

Parts are nonreturnable unless DK2 sent the incorrect part, or the part is defective. 

 

Common Reasons for Return 

Defective Product 

DK2 handles thousands of items, and sometimes things go wrong. If an item arrives to you defective, let us know and we will make it right. 

Damaged Product 

Items ship out all the time, and sometimes accidents happen. These incidents are rare, sometimes items can arrive to you with damaged packaging. Let us know right away if this occurs so that we can make it right. 

Incorrect Product 

If you receive an incorrect order, we will get the return process started. We will make it right by you and get the correct item shipped immediately.  

Lost Package 

Processing time differs from order to order, but shipping is always on us. If your package tracking information says delivered but you have not received it yet, let us know. We will get in touch with the shipper and track it down. If we are unable to find it, we will ship a new product and handle the claim. 

First, please double check the package is not hidden or with a neighbor or roommate for safe keeping. If it is still lost, let us know so we can file a claim. We will process your replacement and handle the details so you can rest easy. 

Don't Like It 

Has your item arrived but it does not look the way you envisioned it? We completely understand and want you to be happy with our products. Give us a call, and we will get a return started. 

 

Buyer’s Remorse – some exclusions apply

Sometimes you no longer need the item that was purchased and would like to return it for a refund.  We are happy to handle the return. 

 

RETURNS THAT ARE NOT AT FAULT OF DK2 ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
